Brand Colors

Consistent use of our brand colors across various touchpoints ensures a consistently recognizable and trustworthy brand perception. As the name FOERSTER (German for forester) suggests, the brand has been traditionally linked to green colors. With our new brand design evolution we have extended the color range within the green and blue spectrum and introduced distinctive color schemes for different communicative intentions and needs. By doing so, we keep our brand communication visible, flexible and vital. A perfect fit for a company that is constantly evolving and pushing forward.

The color yellow is used in various instances for housing components or fasteners within FOERSTER industrial design. In brand communications, however, it is never used on its own or over large areas; rather, it is used at most for highlighted technical info boxes in contrast to dark surfaces.

Do

  • Maintain consistency when using one of the four different color schemes – e.g. light for product data information, dark for enveloping image communication.
  • Use shades of green, blue or grey as a way to achieve graphic hierarchy in your layout – e.g. for boxes or levels of elevation in the respective color scheme. Higher contrast, higher level of hierarchy and vice versa.
  • Be loud (only) where needed. Our new „Signal Green“ is bright and visible; suitable for messages that stick – but should be handled with care.
